FRIDAY, October 17 - 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Gilchrist Museum of the Arts
104 Washington Street, Cumberland, MD 21502
The beWell Arts Sponsors-Presenters Reception will start at 6:30 pm at the Gilchrist Museum of the Arts featuring an assortment of savory and sweet samosas, a charcuterie spread of artesian cheeses, cured and cooked meats, fresh veggies of the day, with jellies, chutneys, mustards, assorted breads, and crackers designed by Chef Michael Harris of Cumberland's Pepper on a Plate - Sabroso Taco, accompanied by favorite dishes, cakes, and candies brought by event Presenters. Complimentary wines, beer, and organic-adaptogenic 0-proof beverages will be served with Andrew Ellifritz' handcrafted syryps. The Gilchrist Museum will also offer a cash bar.
In an aura of mindful awareness and purposeful commitment to the intentional wellbeing of ourselves and our community, we will celebrate what everyone in attendance has so generously contributed to doing - Choosing to be Well.
Thank you for being a with us.
During the evening, classical music on guitar will be provided by Owen Garlitz followed by a closing sound bath of crystal singing bowls and koshi chimes played by April M.H.Yeager.
Note that there will be a WaterColour Society art exhibit in the Gilchrist Museum Galleries on this evening. And, as we celebrate Wellness as an Arts, it is also the first weekend of the Western Maryland Artist Studio Tour, so there will be many wonderful experiences to be enjoyed!
