An Evening with Frida Kahlo on Tuesday, July 7th - celebrating her chosen birthday 116 years after the start of the Mexican Revolution, and the great influence of the art and voice of this charasmatic woman of her times. 6:30-9:00 PM - at the beWell Arts Studio.
Embrace your inner free spirit and “be” Frida Kahlo, the fabulous Mexican artist whose incredible life, thought-provoking art, and passionate marriage to fellow artist Diego Rivera make her a woman to be celebrated! This evening will be full of vibrant art that inspires you to paint, music that makes you move, and colors that come alive, all served with Mexican-inspired refreshments to delight the senses!
Award-winning film segments of the film “Frida” highlighting this artist’s unusual creative life will be screened and you will experiment with her surrealist style by creating your own composition during a hands-on painting experience led by Beth Hilliker. Complimentary Mexican-inspired refreshments will be served along with Margaritas (both spirited and not) and, if inspired, enjoy dressing like Frida. Random Frida door gifts will be drawn and awarded throughout the evening along with a fan-favorite floral crowning of the person wearing the most Frida-like attire.

Reservations are limited by space*. They are confirmed by payment of $74, which includes all art supplies, Mexican-inspired heavy appetizers, endless Margaritas and other thoughtful beverage pairings will be served, all with nonalcoholic options.
